Mission Statement
The Seniors Computer Club is established to help meet the needs of seniors who want to know more about computers.
The prime objective of the club is to teach seniors to use and enjoy the benefits of computer technology.
The Seniors Computer Club provides a non-threatening and friendly environment where seniors can learn from other seniors. They can learn what they choose to learn and they can learn at their own pace.
As the club will have a number of members who act as tutors or trainers, the self-esteem of these people will be enhanced by what they are able to give to others.
Learning is a life-long experience and if a senior is motivated to use a computer and seek the support and encouragement of peers at a Computer Club for Seniors that person is likely to succeed.
